234B O'Neill's Bar Beginners S'chase

H.E. Sexton, rider of Frankie's Freebie, trained by Adrian Sexton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

234C McDonald & Son Builders M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from P.G. Fahey, trainer of Faerie Tales, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Spanish Rising, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the home bend.

234D Flynn Hotel Group H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the landing side of the last hurdle involving Churchwarden, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed second, and Rightfolksplease, ridden by Kevin Healy, placed first, where it appeared contact was made between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

234E WTW Willis Rated Novice H'dle

Owing to low-lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number four to be omitted from this race.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Early Dawning (TUR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake at the first hurdle and was unseated soon after.

B. Hayes, rider of Butch Coolidge, trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran wide off the last bend.

234F Bluegrass Horse Feeds H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from N Dooly, trainer of The Ducks Walk, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

Owing to low-lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number four to be omitted from this race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Taketwotoone, ridden by Mr T. O'Connor, and Miss Guiry, ridden by D.J Gilligan, where it appeared Miss Guiry may have clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. Gilligan stated that the horse in front of him was coming back and he clipped a heel through no fault of anyone. Mr T. O'Connor stated that his mount was tired and spotted the loose horse. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

D.J Gilligan, rider of Miss Guiry, trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel.
